Who is Physiotherapy for?

Physiotherapy is for every body. Whether your wrists are aching after working from home, you’ve pulled your shoulder reaching into the kitchen cupboard, even if you just slept funny and woke up with a niggle in your neck… 

Booking in for an assessment with one of our specialists will put your mind at ease, provide you with a sound explanation, and a plan to combat the pain. 

We’re all guilty of putting our bodies on the back-burner, but it’s best to take the first step and catch pain early to prevent it progressing down the line. The sooner we get it sorted, the better!

What do I get in my first session?

During your first  session, we will carry out your 15-min assessment and 30-min treatment.

The purpose of this session is to assess how you feel, and how you move. We provide the answers and everything you need to kickstart your road to recovery.  

You will receive: 

  • A movement analysis from one of our expert physiotherapy team.  
  • A clear diagnosis. 
  • Hands-on treatment to relieve any immediate pain or symptoms. 
  • A follow-up report outlining your recovery programme and timeframes. 
Do I need follow up Physio sessions?

Following your initial assessment and diagnosis, it may be necessary to return to the Physiotherapist for a series of treatments sessions; often ranging from massage treatments to personalised exercise programmes, Electrotherapy or more holistic methods.

Your Physiotherapist may try a couple of different approaches in order to determine which works best with your body and lifestyle, with some treatments allowing for an at-home recovery plan.

Who will carry out my Physio treatment?

Our highly qualified and expertly trained physiotherapists will carry out your conultation, physio sessions and any following treatment plan. You will always see the same physio.

What is MSK Physiotherapy?

Musculoskeletal physiotherapy, often abbreviated as MSK physio, is a branch of physiotherapy focusing on the treatment of the musculoskeletal system which includes muscles, bones, joints, nerves, tendons, ligaments, cartilage, and spinal discs.

Is there any pain or discomfort involved?

Most patients report that there is very little discomfort and that they were much more comfortable following the physio treatment than they anticipated. 

Do you offer remote Physiotherapy?

Now available for remote consultations, our Physiotherapy experts have dedicating specific time slots for those patients and clients who feel unable to attend a face-to-face session; conducting a first-hand interview over a secure video app/telephone.
