Wokingham Clinic Reopening Update

In line with the latest government and health service recommendations, Empire Physiotherapy are delighted to be reopening the doors to our Wokingham Clinic on the 8th of June 2020, to provide appointments for only those in urgent need, or to those who are classified as key workers in the NHS.

With the UK moving into Phase Two of its Coronavirus Management plan, we are constantly reviewing the situation in line with our own guidelines and those set out by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). It is understood that access to physiotherapy is integral in supporting those living with injury and in getting people back to work to re-start the UK economy, and we are committed to doing our bit to support the public and our clients.

Our biggest priority remains the guaranteed safety of our clients and staff, as well as the wider public, and so we will be opening the Wokingham Clinic to a limited capacity, with full infection control measures in place, and strict entry regulations.

Prior to being invited to appointment, you will first be assessed virtually with a remote consultation, to ascertain if your need fits under the eligibility criteria. Further guidelines and a full risk assessment will be provided to those individuals who are invited to a face-to-face appointment.

Please note that we will only be offering face-to-face appointments to emergency cases and NHS key workers at this time.
